Steve has played an integral role in the growth and success of Rels Title. He brings over 30 years’ experience in business management and law, and has a JD degree from Ohio Northern University. Prior to his current position, Steve held a wide variety of executive and management roles within the title industry, and he previously served as the General Counsel for Rels Title.

Steve remains grateful to several “old line” experts in the title industry who showed him the ropes early in his career. Today he draws on those valuable insights and on lessons from business visionaries like Jack Welsh, former head of GE, to guide his leadership. “I learned the value of delegating well, adapting to change, giving managers autonomy, and having a solid success plan,” he says. Steve is impressed with Rels’ culture of “expectations, accountability, and execution” and he’s proud of his senior management team. “Every one of my senior team members offers clients more than 25 years of title industry experience,” he says. To unwind, Steve enjoys reading, walks, biking, and cross-country skiing. He and his wife are proud of their three adult children and plead guilty to spoiling their two grandchildren.
