Before he joined Rels in 1995, Bill already had a well-established record in the lending industry, including various management positions in loan production for Wells Fargo Financial. He’s been on the inside track ever since, participating in several mortgage banking and lending associations and proudly promoting Rels as “the premier lending services company in the United States.”
Bill’s on the move outside the office, too. He and his wife Julie are raising three active kids, and he’s enormously proud of the youth baseball team he coaches — one of many over the years. Whether he’s coaching a baseball team or rallying Rels troops around a marketing plan, Bill’s ability to inspire and motivate, analyze opportunities, and build on key strengths drives his teammates to their highest performance. For his own career inspiration, Bill credits Dick Kovacevich, Chairman of Wells Fargo. When it comes to achievement, Bill believes “There is no elevator to success; you have to take the stairs.” Bill earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Iowa State University and has completed advanced MBA coursework at Drake University.
