Leslie launched her career in the mortgage industry over 20 years ago. In 1985 she began working as a settlement agent for a Philadelphia lender. Her career trajectory soon encompassed lending beyond mortgages, including installment sales contract lending for manufactured housing and recreation vehicles.

With all eight of her siblings living in Minnesota, Leslie was happy to return home when Cargill sought her expertise. There she served for many years as president of Cargill’s Access Financial Services organization. A subsequent position as senior managing director/EVP at GMAC-RFC put Leslie in charge of a large scale operation, with oversight of correspondent lending originations, records management, and the company’s conversion to a paperless processing model. Before joining Rels, Leslie held a senior managing director position with Bear Stearns EMC Mortgage in Dallas, Texas.

Through re-orgs and acquisitions, Leslie has maintained an unflagging passion for her work, the business — and especially, the people. She is a collaborative, inclusive extravert who builds mutual success through trusted partnerships — and a straight shooter who delivers on her promises. Leslie enjoys playing and watching sports, and has been known to lean on sports analogies in her business practices. She and her husband are busy raising three great kids.
